The multiple award-winning Centre is a state-of-the-art brain research facility which is dedicated to resolving brain maladies for healthy lifelong function. My involvement with the Centre, commenced with the exciting opportunity to design a 30 page book to facilitate the ambitious task of raising $37 million to build the Center on 3.5 acres near the vibrant heart of Dallas, Texas. My role as graphic designer expanded to art director in photography, assisting in copy writing and designing promotional materials for the groundbreaking campaign. To reflect the new building’s vision, I proceeded with re-branding the Centre from letterhead to signage. The last phase of my involvement was assisting CBH with art acquisition and full service project management with digitised illustrations and proposals. The project was completed in three years, and provided me with a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to shape the visual components of the Center for BrainHealth™ inside and out.
